SNAKES AND FAKES

by Bill Kochman

10-12-2024

I don't have time for legalistic snakes,
Forget about brethren who are fakes.
They want to catch me in their snare,
But I'm not stupid, no

Llueve
en un concreto lugar
del conglomerado urbano
llamado Sol y parece
una inconguencia.

sad wildling
you can exist
in the silence
as I do

in morning the sun
will make the quietest
poetry

of the vast isolation
beyond our knowing

and swear I felt it stall

I fed it each my shadows
I could not bare their pain
which turned them into battles
it amplified their strain...
