Accidental #orktober post, I finished painting up a mini older than me!
From the RTB02 Space Ork Raider box, a Space Ork Trooper from the late 80's.

These older hand sculpted models are taking my fancy at the moment, and have so much character, whimsy and a lot of detail.

An old hand sculpted lead cast Citadel Miniatures Space Ork Trooper. They are painted with a goblin green base, vibrant yellow green skin, dirty linen pants, red pauldrons and a rusty metal bolter.

The same miniature from the other side, you can see the yellowy brown leather pouches and boots, and the bright green base has some texture with a yellow dry brush, as a nod to older basing styles.

The Morkanaut is complete! Significantly uprated from the core kit, the kustom mega blasta has moved up to the top, giving it two arms to pick up and grab interesting scrap for the mek.

First Boy for #Orktober, also the first Ork I’ve ever painted. Went for a kind of Hoth Rebel winter-uniform vibe, with a few Blood Axes and Deathskulls influences thrown in. Think it came together pretty nicely 😁
