I've been using #claude on #omarchy mostly via the CLI but I have to admit that the Claude app on MacOS has a couple of nice features like prompt suggestions, file upload and chat history that I'm really missing on the CLI. Just feels more solid IMO. Hope we get that on Linux too.

Ikey Doherty, creator of Solus and AerynOS, is basically saying: I can do this better.

His answer is Barney, a Rust-based project for building a Linux distro from source.

Sometimes when testing the web cam configurator, I see a black screen and it takes me a while to remember the lens cover is still on so….shipped a feature to detect this within 2.5 seconds. Inspired by the “are you speaking? Your mic may be muted” feature in Google meet.
