Not a fan of the new Trash icon, either. It looks like a Japanese crepe, with ゴミ filling 😒
I've never seen a trashcan that narrow; either skeuomorphism or not, there is no try.

All of the OS 27 versions installed on my devices. All seems to be functioning without any noticeable hitches. Just the usual it's new software bumping and grinding, plus there's the Siri AI indexing. Too early to judge anything really. #Apple #iOS27 #macOS27 #iPadOS27 #watchOS27

Mac OS 27 upgrade is a massive 27GB download & ios27 is a massive almost 13GB download, it took me 3 hours to download & install both #macos27 #ios27

Vibe check: how are #iOS27 and #macOS27 looking? Do we wait til point release or are they alright?

I'm sorry to report that #macOS27 is no better at auto-arranging desktop icons around widgets than any past iterations. #whatannoysme

Bellissimo!

#MacOS27 Golden Gate is the best update in many years. The design is fixed, performance is improved, search and Siri are surprisingly very good. Indexing will take a day but it can find needles in haystacks unlike Windows search. Even the traffic lights and corner radius are uniform. Nice one #Apple

MacOS 27 most definitely faster and snappier on my M1 pro 16gb macbook. Spotlight searching is looooooads faster. Which is nice.

I also ought to work on my energy-saving project, and organising Journal Club and Kingston Invents for tomorrow: a bit neglected while my head was down on proofing...

Kinda surprised to see this. #macOS27

I updated to macOS 27 Golden Gate and I'm loving it so far. I finally feel like I found a desktop that's more beautiful than the riced KDE desktop that I made a few years ago.

This dock-behind-the-menu-bar phenomenon still happens in #MacOS27. It comes and goes, on all three of the Macs I use regularly. I first noticed it in Tahoe, and figured it would get fixed in Golden Gate. It's really not a big deal though; Apple probably has a lot of other bugs to work on.
