9 years for a 29-year-old pitcher? I’m passing.
The Dodgers already have enough talent to win. Be smart: add an arm like Clay Holmes + a bat like Teruaki Sato and keep the roster flexible. 💙⚾

TBH? I’ve been subjected to so much misery as a #Mets fan and I’m so bitter, I don’t think there’s a single team in the postseason I want to root for. I want every fanbase in baseball to feel the same pain and misery I have, no matter how undeserving of it they may be. I may be broken inside. #LGM

Wheeler walking guys in big spots and then giving up a bomb? There’s the Zack Wheeler I know! #Mets #LGM

I hope so too, Dan. After this crappy year in so many ways, I think the baseball gods owe me one. ⚾ #LGM

Best case scenario: Rojas develops into a star (very possible), Mets sign Holmes as a FA (possible , but he’ll have a lot of suitors ), and Tyrone Taylor gets a nice contract and a chance to start for an AL team. #LGM

With this change, @Mets Brett Baty had his average rise from .236 to .238.

Additionally, this now gives Baty 100 hits for the season.

I'm optimistic for the same reasons, and a couple of the kids they picked up at the trade deadline look interesting. If there is a normal spring training, there will be much to watch #LGM

They get an F for the full year, but a solid B from the day Green took over. The emergence of their young pitchers plus Benge & Ewing, the combo of all the prospects they traded for and the fact that their bullpen IMPROVED after all those trades make me optimistic for 2027. #LGM

Benge is the kind of player that, should he have the kinds of 2nd and 3rd years we hope for, we lock up in a long term contract the way the Braves locked up Acuna. #LGM

Baseball may be over for the New York Mets, but Carson Benge's teammates can't stop talking about him. #LGM #GoPokes

What I had hoped to hear from Stearns #Mets #MetsSky #LGM

Good morning #MetsSky. I see a lot of season scorecards for the #Mets. Here's mine. It's an F. Why? Because it's October & my Mets are not playing baseball. Did we see some good signs? Yes. Are we optimistic about the future? We should be. But did we make the playoffs? No. That's an F. #LGM 2027

Here is some of the latest Mets analysis from around the internet. The pieces focus on David Stearns' plans for improvement, the team's struggles and potential, questions about the offseason, and the development of players like Bo Bichette, A.J. Ewing, and Carson Benge.… #mets #newyork #LGM

Pete Alonso is kind of a piece of sh!t, TBH. He & the Mets wanted different things in a contract so they went their separate ways. It was just business, but he’s gone out of his way to loudly whine that he was personally insulted when in truth the #Mets had agreed to pay him millions for years. #LGM

The trade deadline was great for the Mets. It will be a while before we know how it plays out, but Rojas is the most exciting prospect we’ve had in a while, aside from Carson Benge. Pitre, Stafura, Amick and Hill all seem capable of making an impact in the next year or two. #LGM
