This was Arkansas, my friend. Here's an old news headline that tells of the electrocution of two Black suspects. 😔

When I research something in particular, I always find something else. It's always like that once I begin peeling away the layers of hidden history.
You're very welcome, Barbara.🙏🏽☺️💙
Yep. 💯
They've been playing the "Black man did it" game for centuries.
Still playing it today.🙄
You're welcome, Shar.🙏🏽☺️💙
Good morning, Carole.🙏🏽☺️💙
I posted a thread on Denton, TX last year, my friend.
Here you go ICYMI:
You're welcome, Kat and good morning, my friend.🙏🏽☺️💙
Yeah, because it was the perfect excuse to seize Black-owned property.
They were like "So what her husband left. This is our chance to get rid of the n****rs and grab some land."
This is the pattern. This is exactly how it was done in every case where Black people were displaced.
Yep—Rosewood was part of the same pattern.
Black man accused of a crime against a White woman. Hell breaks loose.
In the case of Rosewood—the woman allegedly had an affair and covered it up by accusing a Black man of rape.
Whether its true or not—Black people were displaced.😪
That's because it does.
The "Black guy did it" game has been played for centuries.
True story.
Good morning, Brother Patrick.👊🏾☺️
You're welcome, Kathleen. When White people question why do Black people argue for reparations—this story and others like it are the reason why.
The families who fled lost their land and generational wealth forever. Catcher became an all-white "sundown town" for decades.
Do you see the pattern?
History often forgets these events, but remembering the truth of 1923 is essential.
