I sketched some garlic today. Rather than trying to match the local color, I chose to work on value. The wood pulp paper held me back here, unlike the conker sketch earlier, because I couldn’t work wet on wet to smooth the tones. Maybe I’ll try again on cotton paper. #watercolor #garlic #PenAndInk
