Actually, it’s bioluminescence, not fluorescence 🤔 But I’d love to see these mushrooms glowing in the dark someday. They were deep in the woods, though. Hopefully, I’ll find some growing near a road next time! 🍄✨

I’m never quite satisfied with the DHC I tie, but these are getting there. Foam is significantly (!) easier to manage, but deer hair is just unmatched!

Foamy 🙂 The water was high after the rain, and the temperature was 19°C, a bit warmer than I expected. This section of the creek was full of fallfish and creek chubs, hoping to see some trout further upstream 🤔

Bees! Like other terrestrials, bees perform well in the High Sierra during the fall transition.

While often discussed, I rarely see them on the vise! I enjoyed reading up on the history of bee patterns and experimenting with some different materials.
