Every #FASD parent worries about the same thing- what will our child do when they turn 18?

The government declares them as adults but because of dysmaturity, they are anything but.

They need to keep many of the supports they had into their adulthood #fasdawarenessmonth

Äidin alkoholinkäytön vaurioittamien lasten määrästä on vain arvioita, suuri osa jää ilman tukea. Sikiöaikaisen altistuksen voi jatkossa ehkä saada selville entistä helpommin, se auttaisi tarjoamaan apua. Diagnoosilla ja syyn ymmärtämisellä suuri merkitys, sanoo tutkija.

NOFASD's Helpline Manager, Robyn Smith, participated in the "Beautiful Bumps" event at Collie last week. Presented by the Child and Parent Centre Collie, the day featured hands-on activities allowing participants to yarn about pregnancy and #FASD in a relaxed environment.
