Ahhh ... Beck ... when he gets melancholy, he is irresistible. And that is rare and rum.

@gehegedrei.bsky.socialWould love to have the wax, but p&p are appalling, and add the VAT on that, and I'd be toast.
Great record, though!
@gehegedrei.bsky.socialThe music of the @boogarins.bsky.social took me through the most devastating summer of my life, and thanks for that.
Apart from that they are just brilliant...
@emsquared.at.app.wafrn.netAmbassador you spoil us. Bloody love Suicide #enclosurethree
@gehegedrei.bsky.socialSuicide... Diamonds, Furcoat, Champagne might be THE gateway drug to their oeuvre!
@gehegedrei.bsky.socialJonathan Richman darf alles. Allesallesalles...
@gehegedrei.bsky.socialApologies...Track 4 is indeed from Posavasos. "Fuego Amigo Discos" is the label. Sorry about the mistake!!!!

Ein Frühwerk von P5...m.W. noch mit einer anderen Sängerin...cool, nicht wahr?
@gehegedrei.bsky.socialI have always been a fan of Earth, Wind & Fire ... but my all around favorite album of theirs is this one. A "no skip album".

As promised, avec Jake Thackray, again. In strange but beautiful company!
@gehegedrei.bsky.socialTo this day, DJST regrets that neither the Italian authorities nor the Vatican showed any sympathy for his thoroughly Italophile—indeed, humanistic—agenda. After a malicious smear piece in (of course)L'Osservatore Romano, he had to beat a hasty retreat ...
@gehegedrei.bsky.socialGood night, everybody!
@gehegedrei.bsky.socialAnd next week's show, done and dusted this afternoon and sent to MadWaspRadio. Saturday's show still in the making, alas.
@gehegedrei.bsky.socialGoing out tonight in style, with The British Stereo Collective playing ABBA...what's not to love?
