Attention, friends!
We're going to #embark
on our train of thoughts...
Make sure it's a good place to (re)visit 😉

The Charon waited for Dylan to return in Magpie and #embark on the next leg of their tour of the Savannah System, and he was starting to think that this punishment detail had gone on for long enough.

People were dying and the Charon was too useful a boat to use for planetary diplomacy.

Rory could, if he wished, head out elsewhere in the game world, have numerous adventures, kill a bunch of god-tier monsters and the ship would still wait for him to #embark and head out to finish this quest.

Time, in the game, wasn't so much fluid as designedly stagnant and sedentary.

The green-eyed monster sitting heavy on the chest. Stealing all the peace, disrupting all the rest. You look across the room, start comparing your success. To a stranger's highlight reel and a filtered happiness. This is where you #embark on your own journey.

no calling or purpose
other than the ones
we make ourselves

do we #embark
or do we just cruise through life
enjoying its spoils?

Random thought
Takes shape
Then grows
Plan reshapes

Finally, embark

‘Meeting new people is hard, I mean, are we gonna #embark on some great friendship?’

‘I know. Finding commonality gets harder as you get older.’

‘I guess that’s why people socialize with people they work with.’

‘My job sucks.’

‘Mine too. I dig holes to find water. It’s, well, boring.’

I #EMBARK...

30 thousand losers
On a raven-feathered train,
Pointing through the window
At the flowers on the plain,
Destination throbbing
Like the boils of a plague,
Unabated images
Of goblins on my brain.

Every day is a salute to every other
All the days
Every one
Now, done or yet to come
They are a spinning circle
A dancing whirling
A dervish
Of our planet around our sun
Every daybreak
Every night shift
A wake up call
A reverie
We are on a solar powered spaceship
Every day we embark

I sat down: I had to assess the situation before embarking on another fool's errand.

So: Raincoat Guy is with Them, who have me over a barrel; is The Tourist one of Them, or is he working for Someone Else?

I checked my watch: eight hours until my appointment at the Paradiso.

When should children be told
They've embarked on a journey
That is an adventure
But also a trauma
A web of intentions
A mad man’s vision
Sometimes we bleed
How young is too young
To teach them to love
But also tell them
There will be stormy times
That force them toward hate

"Be my pilot," Jay said. "Space junk salvage isn’t anything glamorous, but when we #embark, you can still see the universe." A smile spread across Eriss's face. “Well? What are you thinking?”

She blushed. "That ‘universe’ would be a good name for unicorn poetry… And yes. Let’s fly.”

just before dawn

a single bright star
glimmers

beneath its watch,
the path I must take

I gather my resolve
to #embark, and

meet my destiny

Carl whispered at the window again; this time, he heard the whispers back.

Up on the hill - the big one, closest to the stars - he laid out the contents of his backpack, ready to #embark on whatever adventure lay ahead.

A compass, string, paper clips… everything they’d told him to bring.

If you do decide to #embark on this journey, please be aware of the risks

It's true that if the hive accepts you, then your mind will be filled with the greatest sights a human could witness

However, if rejected, your flesh, your very essence, will be reworked for its needs
