#DVparty WIP:
Adult portal fantasy

5 Midwestern friends are transported into their video game- an MMORPG set in ancient mythological China where they face up against the likes of Sun Wukong and the Mad Monk. No pressure, but there are griefers in the game and there’s a civil war brewing.

Day 5 #DVParty:

"Tease your next WIP."

Well... I'm not allowed👀

My next WIP is my Doctoral Thesis novel. All I can say is that there's robots, a legal battle, and the question of 'what is satience?'

In another project, I'm playing with teleportation and international terrorism.

Inspired by the Korean lore of Lady Yuhwa and Haemosu (sun god)

Aera, demon hunter, has a fairytale life as Yuhwa, water god’s daughter. When the relapses to the world of gods turn prophetic, Aera must decipher the clues of Yuhwa’s betrothal before it kills everyone she loves.

If they can't find a way to maintain her magic they may die, become normal animals, or (most terrifying of all) return to being human and have to get jobs and wear pants. (WIP) #ya #f #dvparty

#DVParty Day 5: Tease your next project

Here's a mood board for my secret time travel WIP I'm hoping to finish this fall!

THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE + A FLICKER IN THE DARK

TEMPEST X DISCOVERY OF WITCHES

A British folklore Odyssey.

The secret prophecy of the White Raven means the Armada is coming. And there's only one exile, Meg McVie, who can access the faerie fort of female warriors on Skye to steal the magic to control the winds - from her mother.

#DVParty WIP

One future project I'm excited for is my adult fantasy about an underwater city where an eco terrorist is trying to save her home that is crumbling from polluting magic energy. Meanwhile the son of a magic energy corporation prez is ordered to stop her, only for them to fall for each other.
