Red Cap Mushroom Patch WIP 1. 1/8 colors stitched so far. The caps of the mushrooms are partially stitched. Stitched onto a white 14-count aida pre-made bookmark blank with scalloped edging. Pattern and embroidery by Sidney Eileen.

Pattern is Peacock Tapestry by Theresa Wentzler. Part of the frame border is stitched in. Embroidery by Sidney Eileen. WIP 2 This pattern was originally purchased by my partner some twenty years ago because she loved the design, but she never stitched it because she hated doing counted work, and it is a particularly complicated pattern. She lost her battle with cancer in March of 2026, and I am stitching this piece in her memory.

If I were to make this again I'll choose cotton yarn instead and block the chest pieces to make it sturdier,and probably freehand the tongue. Other than that, great pattern! 🥰💖

Right now I'm building La Última Luz, a shared pixel canvas where a real LLM plays the destroyer. The hard part isn't the AI, it's keeping it honest: its rules live in server code, not the prompt, so every pixel it burns is clamped and logged. #craftsky
