Dram 4 properly surprised me. Usually that nose means I don't like it but this was very good. Bit of water and bang! Scores a 4 from me #BlindDrams

Palate.

Meaty, burnt wood, ashy. Honey glaze. A short finish.

Water takes all the smoke tatse away and leaves it very sweet like sugar cubes

Dram 4 - On the palate: Follows the promising notes from the nose, there is some lovely warming peat and a background sweetness. It tastes slightly young to me too, I'm getting a slighltly new-makey note. #BlindDrams

Dram 4 - On the palate: Slightly disappointing. There's not a ton of flavour in here. It's not bad, it just doesn't really land. The abv feels low. It's a bit thin. It's nice enough, smokey session dram, would work with a mixed grill #BlindDrams

#Blinddrams dram 4 palate is a bit of a let down - thin on the arrival, dirty orange barley water, medicinal edge, smoked brisket, lemon and fish sauce. some spice but not loads. Wish it was thicker, but just a bit thin.
