APESAR de ter gostado do Volvemon, eu entendo quem desgostou porque ele parece mais uma mega alternativa do Gekkomon do que uma jogress, se comparar com jogress de outros protagonistas, como Proximamon (que faltou em GG realmente), Susanoomon ou Omegamon #Digimon #BEATBREAK

and so Asuka's role in the final few episodes feels like a cheap way of making Tomoro the most important character. I would've loved to see all of Glowing Dawn save the world, but Reina, Makoto and Kyo kinda just stood there and watched. #BEATBREAK 49

My biggest issue with the show is Tomoro and Asuka's bond—or lack thereof. Even before Asuka was coldhearted he wasn't much of a character. Not enough was done before that and while Tomoro was getting used to his new family #BEATBREAK 49

A bit too much misery most of the time but the positive vibes of the finale weigh quite a lot against that aspect of the show so I guess it cancels out. #BEATBREAK 49

But the misses with Reina aside, as well as Tomoro not being the best protagonist for this show and Gekkomon almost being more annoying than fun, I have had fun with Beatbreak. #BEATBREAK 49

this found family is supposed to be just that, a found family. Having the only female member of that family be in love with the man who saved her and created the family made me groan so hard. But they didn't even hint at it after that so like, whatever. #BEATBREAK 49

...which was almost ruined when they revealed that Reina is in love with Kyo. But nothing came from that so that was probably just the bias of the staff of that particular episode. That was such a weird thing to just throw out there in a show where #BEATBREAK 49

So it's a real shame that Reina is underutilized. We never did get to a proper look at her backstory, how her relationship with Pristimon evolved, how she met Kyo etc. Thankfully despite this, they do a good enough job with Reina for her to become my fav character. #BEATBREAK 49

Even after he has been with them for a while, been saved by them and having saved them, he doesn't really become attached to them as a family. Out of everyone, Reina and later Kyo are the only ones who truly feel like the family is *important* to them. #BEATBREAK 49

Tomoro doesn't integrate well with the family and I'm not talking about the initial period when he was sad about his brother and didn't feel like dealing with the members of Glowing Dawn. #BEATBREAK 49

Beatbreak has been an interesting show. It's good but as a protagonist, Tomoro kinda sucks. His bond with Gekkomon takes way too long to strengthen and even after they become better partners there's not really that much there compared to Reina and Makoto. #BEATBREAK 49

Anyway. The weird start of the episode aside, this was a good ending to Beatbreak. #BEATBREAK 49

as the owner of the Sapotama they were born from doesn't mind that in order to be free they need to be kind to the Sapotama owner. #BEATBREAK 49

there's not really any good reason to be angry at a human trying to be nice, but still. I guess this is something you just shouldn't think about and you should just assume that every Digimon that doesn't have a criminal #BEATBREAK 49

Like what if a Digimon feels that they shouldn't have to be nice to the human whose Sapotama they were born from in order to be free? Sure, it doesn't take much to accept kindness and #BEATBREAK 49

But Digimon having to break free from humans to gain independent puts them at a disadvantage by default. Sure, in this new world, Digimon can do whatever and go wherever they want, but they still need to earn that freedom. #BEATBREAK 49

This doesn't mean that Digimon won't be taken advantage of though and like they showed, there's still Digimon crimes. At least now the status quo isn't that governments try to keep the existence of Digimon hidden and delete them as soon as they are born. #BEATBREAK 49

I both like and dislike that it's not a permanent change to every Digimon but that they have to learn how to create their own E-Pulse and that comes from just becoming close to humans. #BEATBREAK 49

E-Pulse and Sapotamas evolving so that Digimon are always born from Sapotamas and that Digimon don't need E-Pulse from humans to survive is a really good place to arrive at after not just the last arc but everything that has happened in the show. #BEATBREAK 49
