App Crash Labの日本語の合成デモ。英語を保存して再読込すると、保存値en・ページ言語en・表示要素数en1/ja0は変わらず、実際のメッセージだけSavedから「保存しました」に戻った。本文を検査しない条件では「PASS・でも画面は壊れている」と表示される。

同じ実行記録で「実際のメッセージ本文も検査する」をONにした画面。Savedから「保存しました」への変化を検出し「FAIL・本文の変化を検出」と表示される。アプリを修正したり再実行したりせず、比較する値だけを追加した。

Missing CSS made our E2E test PASS: a hidden button became clickable.

Same URL, unchanged JS, 4 runs. A starting-state check stops the false verdict.

GitHub table from our measured same-origin experiment. Original contract with CSS: reload PASS, rejected update INCONCLUSIVE because the click target is hidden. Original contract without CSS: PASS/PASS through an invalid route. Corrected contract with CSS: PASS/PASS. Corrected contract without CSS: baseline INCONCLUSIVE for both checks. CLI exit codes are 2, 0, 0, 2. This is a test-setup counterexample, not a production app bug.

1 of 3. Actual browser screenshot from App Crash Lab’s synthetic fixture. Broken mode changes the message from Saved to 保存しました after reload. Without exact-text observation, stored language and labelled-element counts still match, so the check says PASS — but the UI is wrong.

2 of 3. The same recorded broken run, with Also check the actual message text selected. The displayed message is still 保存しました. The verdict becomes FAIL — caught the text change. This checkbox re-evaluates recorded values; it does not rerun or repair the app.

3 of 3. A new run of the normal synthetic fixture, with exact-text observation enabled. The message remains Saved after reload and the check says PASS — the selected values survived.

My first reload test falsely failed: Fala Gringo had incremented a sync-hint counter, not lost progress.
