My ambitious plan is to get to the ‘All Is Lost’ scene. Could happen.

My ambitious plan is to get to the ‘All Is Lost’ scene. Could happen.
I have no concrete plans other than getting more words on the page.
I do know that the Falcons are about to go full Star Fox mode in a bit.
Treat us like pets, will you?
I am going to do big picture planning. There are opening scenes I know for sure I want, and a general shape of the story is already in mind. I want to fill in some more details, which might include a timeline for how long the story is. Does it take place over six months? More, less?
#FirstDraftFall I'm still working on the structure of the overall plot. And in addition, I'd like to make a decision of the form this week as well. I'm torn between making my book epistolary or told via diary entries (they have their similarities and pros and cons...either way I hope I can find my

Character building, specifically the 3 MCs that the story will be focusing on entirely. I have detailed character sheets to fill out, like I've done for previous WIPs, and it takes about a day to do one character

No specific goal, just more worldbuilding and jotting down notes for next month.
I've decided that the evil(?) god will have 3 forms, the "pretty boy" form, the "slightly eldritch" form, and the BE NOT AFRAID form, so I do want to do some more work on fleshing that out. (lol)
For Knights of the Kingdom, I've planned out the backstory for the culprit and the other suspects' involvement with them. Now, how to integrate that into the story without giving too much away all at once?
Monday #FirstDraftFall Check-In: What aspects of story planning are you going to work on this week? Do you have a specific goal?

I'm probably going to omniscient third POV again. That probably counts as a POV character 'other than my main character.'
I'm going to follow the same format with the sequel for #HeatAndHighwater and have chapters from each of my trio. I think it allows for a fuller story of the conflicts and closeness. A dragon, unicorn, and kelpie all have very different ideas and desires. 🐉
#FirstDraftFall True to Holmesian tradition, A Scandal in Beehemia is narrated by Arthur North's (the MC's) companion, Cedric Doyle, MD, general surgeon, whose accounts are honest and, contrary to Arthur North's requests, not embellished for excitement.

Nope!
We do a lot of multiple POV stories. But sometimes a story demands focus. This is one of them.
Also, we do a lot of first person narratives, and we like to justify multiple POVs for those. Give an in-conan reason, such as telepathy or interviews, etc.

The Alderwick Times doesn't have a POV character persay.
Mercy is sort of a dual POV in the sense that Mercy and Madison share a consciousness and thus thoughts.
Gilded Essence is a one POV story and will, barring drastic changes, stay that way.
The plan is one POV.
(I can’t believe I’m doing this again because I swore I was bad at first-person storytelling. I mean, I did it with Hot Wings and Sauciness, but let’s see if I can do it again for a YA!)
I don't think any of my pieces include POVs from other characters. I'm strictly a one POV girlie, and that includes not wandering into other people's heads. It's definitely a product of the types of stories I like to tell #FirstDraftFall
I haven't decided yet. It might.
A good chunk. I added new scenes because of a song.
I MIGHT include POV side characters aside from my main three for my first draft, but I'm not 100% sure yet. The main three alone are taking up so many chapters so far. 😆
