I just read #Animorphs Bk 8. The first from Ax's perspective. And I really liked it. I hated the predicament the Andelite laws put on him. I'm glad he got to call home. But FUUUUCK, what that general made him do.

Another good story. Always so short, but full great moments.

In something that looked like Whiteout, there was a message painted on the kinked wire: CHARGE YOUR DAMN PHONE. “We added the message after the fiftieth time we had to hear that dead battery sound.” “We?” “Me,” Noah said, his smile widening. I imagined Mrs. Ortiz laughed when she read the loving directive from her son and continued to never charge that phone. She and Noah had the same laugh, honking and full-bodied. If the group of us were downstairs and Noah went up to the kitchen for snacks, it was guaranteed we’d hear him laugh with his mom about something only they understood. The two of them honking in tandem always made us laugh, too.
