I must hate myself. I’m still watching this #Wonka show.

Finished the first episode of #Wonka. I feel like Netflix wanted another Squid Games, and decided Wonka was kinda creepy. Then they leaned into it.
It ruins the magic and innocence of the actual film.
In the story, the kids did it to themselves. In the reality show, Wonka is a sadist.

Whoever wrote the lines for Willy #Wonka on this new Netflix show needs to be fired. They are terrible.

The use of AI was a mistake. If you’re gonna have a tour/contest in a #Wonka factory, it NEEDS a Willy Wonka!!! Not just a voice over a loudspeaker. This isn’t Big Brother.
