FYI, The Girl with the Pearl Earring has been in the Mauritshuis in The Hague since 1902. It was hidden in a bunker under the museum during the Nazi occupation and re-emerged after Allied forces liberated the Netherlands in May 1945. #TheDarkCorner was released in May 1946. #TheNoirCollective
