I feel like it's been ages since #TCM has given me a shot of Van Heflin, and #Patterns hits the spot. I just bought a new restoration of it (bringing my total copies to 3, 1 DVD, 2 BD) but haven't watched it yet.

One of the best films of 80s. John Boorman's autobiographical film about his growing up in World War II London during the Blitz. Unforgettable. Highly recommended. 🎥

That's what happened to me on Xfinity 4 years or so ago. #TCM was removed from the already expensive top tier of channels and insultingly paired with a group of random sports channels I neither know nor care about. It was infuriating, but I swallowed my rage and paid through the nose just for TCM.
