We've been hard at work updating the Fields of Aaru demo for #SteamNextFest.

Fields of Aaru is a cozy life sim set in the ancient Egyptian afterlife.

We've added fluffier foliage, and flowers to the meadows! Enhanced mode also adds water reflections, improved lighting, and softer shadows.

A Demo Update has just been released!

Ascended Snake will be participating in #SteamNextFest: October 2026.
(Runs between the 19th and 26th of October)

I am thrilled to say that the full version is almost ready for release. Expect news soon!

Steam Next Fest starts Oct 19. Without a Twitch category, your demo's streams land under Games + Demos or another game, and you'll only find one if its title or channel names your game. Of the 4,398 games in June's fest, 1,664 still had no category I could find this week.
