Oh uh...

Nina is occasionally drugged by the main villain so she can't use her powers as punishment. Animal god magic is everything in this world so... That's horrifying.

It basically disconnects people from the gods and leaves them cold and lonely.

#QueerWritersChat Q2:
Katie - absolutely not, she prefers bloodless thrills and ghost stories over gore.
Bekah - an avid fan and consumer, takes pride in what she can stomach.
Meg - boring, inaccurate, better in the 80s (she's in her 40s)
Della - only if there's a shoulder to hide in next to her.

I imagine Iacob's heard a scary story now and then at this or that battlefield campfire, over the years, but having had some actual experience he probably probably finds them silly at best, and he's a little too much of a workaholic to try to change that.

When he was 18, Cole was in a serious car accident that he escaped mostly unhurt, but the ramifications of that night echo through both books. He still thinks about it a lot.

#QueerWritersChat Lee from the SciFi WIP probably likes slasher movies and stuff like that, but not the more cerebral stuff. He's a bit of a fuckboy. Allegra would like literary gothic horror.

I am EL! Tired and late but here. Ive been working on a monster society from the POV of a siren barista. I haven’t gotten very far this week but I’m trying.

#QueerWritersChat A3: Ness has had a few close calls that scared her. One that happens on the page is that she is pushed from the top of a moving train.

#queerwriterschat Sup, I'm Zane, a queer AuDHD hermit.
I'm working on a sorta goth sorta western sorta romance m/m story. My main story is also an m/m high school story with mental health issues woven in to it.

Rollan... would like everyone to know that at times, he feels like his story is enough of a horror that no, he would not enjoy it.

Kellem might depending on the type. Slashers would annoy him. He knows ghosts personally, so maybe. Most others would be fun.

#QueerWritersChat Hey all! I'm Elliott and I'm a horror author. My current WIP -- I have many, but I'm moving my focus to a science fiction horror project, which is a new genre/subgenre for me. We're talking generation ships and weird aliens.

Tharaiyelagh has never encountered horror media, but he would probably like it.

Akieryon prefers nonfiction.

Ava isn't into fiction, but he does enjoy frightening people, so I think he'd enjoy horror haha

Gil definitely does, especially horror that's a little sexy (they are a romance editor with a fear kink, after all). they'd be very into the horrormance trend. Brant is even moreso a horror guy, especially weird/psychological stuff. Callum not so much, he gets scared easily. #queerwriterschat
