@filmreview.bsky.socialThere’s no more magic – or laughs – in the belated sequel to the 1998 comic fantasy which also featured Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as sibling white witches. Read the review: www.filmreviewdaily.com/new-reviews/... #PracticalMagic2 #SandraBullock #FilmReview

@dinnerandamovie.bsky.socialAlthough #PracticalMagic2 provides some hits of nostalgia, it's quite unfocused overall. Fans of 1998's #PracticalMagic are likely to enjoy spending time with these characters again, but this sequel lacks the character depth or focused plot of the original. Link in bio for full (non-spoiler) review.

@onmymindagain.bsky.socialPractical Magic 4. I entreat all to give it a chance. Suspend your disbelief and let the plot happen. Creepy male lead aside, the haters on the internet are missing out. Feels like there is some stupid campaign lately but they're just wrong. It's fine. Still magical. #practicalmagic2 #filmreview
@onmymindagain.bsky.socialPractical Magic Part 3. The thing is that I knew I would love it. I was even a bit teary in a couple of places. I love how witchy worldbuilding is all about how natural life and death are. Nothing to fear, just love and connection. Their presence lives on. #practicalmagic2 #filmreview
@onmymindagain.bsky.socialPractical Magic 2, Part 2. CGI complaints are dumb. I didn't mind at all. Product placement didn't really care and only figured it out at end. Dislikes: hated the male romantic lead who was Sandra Bullocks man. Romantic script super cringe. Weird AF and creepy. #practicalmagic2 #filmreviews
@onmymindagain.bsky.socialAbout Practical Magic 2. Went with both of my daughters. And it was as I expected. I LOVED it. Likes: female-friendly messaging, witchy spookiness, witchy generational wisdom, mother-daughter closeness, great messaging about seeking love and happiness. Beefs for Part 2. #practicalmagic2 #filmreview
