How hard would it be to have a 30 second scene:
Peter sits down & looks at Olivia. He takes the ring from around his neck, takes it off the tie, hands it her, puts out his left hand, she puts it on his finger & they touch foreheads. The perfect moment. Sigh. #Fringe #Polivia

So no acknowledgement that Peter was wearing his ring around his neck this whole time. By anybody.
No acknowledgement that he's now wearing his ring on his finger again.
