#NHLJets off to a solid start. Early days yet. Like the speed with the added youth. Like what the goalies have shown. Love Perfetti on the top line. Kid has talent.

Neither of these guys were on the #NHLJets last season.. Kind of crazy to think about.

No Connor Hellebuyck.

Mark Scheifele doesn't have a point.

And the #NHLJets are 2-0-1.

Go figure.

(Note - one of the two things mentioned above will soon change, which should only help the cause).

Safe to say this paid off in a major way, as the #NHLJets -- who had been without an even strength goal from a forward this season -- get 3 in just over a 4 minute span to rally for victory.

The #NHLJets may have something here in “Mud.”

Clay Stevenson looked like a seasoned pro in making just his sixth career NHL start.

There’s some “big and boring” elements to his game — that’s a compliment — which remind me of a certain someone (who shares the same trainer).

honestly great goaltending from Clay Stevenson tonight #NHLJets #WinnipegJets #NHL #hnom

Penguins: 2
#NHLJets: 3
Times Jets beat the goalie but hit the post: 5

IT DOESN'T MATTER! STEVENSON WINS HIS DEBUT AND LIVES UP TO THE 33!! JETS WIN!!! MJ APPROVES!!

#NHL Game Score Impact Card for Winnipeg Jets on 2026-10-05:

The #NHLJets, playing for second straight day, rally in the third to beat Pittsburgh 3-2 and remain unbeaten in regulation (2-0-1)

Clay Stevenson (29 saves) was terrific in debut.
Iafallo 1G, 1A

Next: vs Colorado Wednesday

The #NHLJets have not hit post 5 times.

Someone examine the Penguins ass for a horseshoe...

Well, this #NHLJets vs #GoPensGo game has opened up a little bit.

Everything is happening in Pittsburgh.

The Penguins had just tied it off a failed clear by Viggo Bjorck, but then Cole Perfetti with a rocket off a Josh Morrissey feed 9 seconds later and it’s 3-2 #NHLJets.

Well now it's tied again 2-2.

Less than ideal defending there.

JUST KIDDING #NHLJETS LEAD 3-2.. PERFETTI!!!

LOWRY!! #NHLJets lead!!

2-1 #NHLJets.

Alex Iafallo makes a great move to the net and Adam Lowry pokes the loose puck home.

Great play by Dylan DeMelo to pinch at the blue line and keep puck in Pittsburgh zone.

The #NHLJets can thank AI for a tie game in Pittsburgh.

Alex Iafallo buries a rebound with 15:17 left in the third period.

1-1.

FINALLY IAFALLO! 1-1 game.

#NHLJets more than earned that one!

Looks like this line is now Rosén with Lowry and Iafallo.

Barron with Björck and Vilardi.

Lambert with Namestnikov and Koepke.

Top line remains unchanged for the Jets in the 3rd.

#NHLJets

#NHLJets coach Scott Arniel has switched up the bottom 9 to start the third period.
