Starring #RyanReynolds & #KennethBranagh, #Mayday is an old school action comedy that captures the larger-than-life tone of the 80s genre movies. While it doesn’t (try to) reinvent the wheel, the pairing of Reynolds & Branagh ensures it's always fun. Link in bio for full (non-spoiler) review.

I just finished watching this movie and really enjoyed it. Action and heart.
My husband and I lived in Guam while he flew Navy reconnaissance over Russia during the Cold War. We left in 1985 and the movie is set in 1987.
Fun walk down memory lane.

#NowWatching: We're expecting this to be mid at best, but enhancing with strain Satsuma Sherbet in the ice bong and some tugs off the ol' vape pen. Unfortunately the dog wants to tear shit up instead of cuddle.

Ryan Reynolds takes Mayday straight into the Cold War, where an American pilot and a former KGB agent have to figure out whether they can trust each other.

Hear Reynolds explain why the movie’s 1987 setting matters so much to the story.

A theatrical knight and a comic Canadian team up for a stylish, eminently diverting action-comedy packed with surprises. Read the review: www.filmreviewdaily.com/new-reviews/... #Mayday #RyanReynolds #KennethBranagh #FilmReview

MAYDAY was a nice surprise on AppleTV. A throwback to those great 80s / 90s action comedy two handers like Lethal Weapon or Tango & Cash.

Husband & I watched #Mayday. So fun! I will never think of “Assassin” in the same way again.

Reynolds pulls out his usual schtick under the guise of a Cold War espionage action comedy and somehow, I feel it could be better without him. What does work is Branagh as his Russian partner. He nails the part. Makes you wanna say das vedanya

#Mayday es una road movie que mezcla acción, aventuras y comedia con una buena química entre sus protagonistas. Kenneth Branagh sorprende en un papel alejado de lo habitual. Divertida y entretenida, aunque le falta ese punto extra para ser redonda. 6'5/10 #cine
