@wordybird.bsky.socialArashi cannot stand Hancock. I think Hancock is a hilarious weeb of a man who is just smarmy enough while offering unqualified help and support. I also think it'll be really funny when his looting tendencies inevitably the better of him. Arashi agrees.
@wordybird.bsky.socialStorm's Road - FFXIV Write 2026: Chapter 10 - Upbraiding
Kasumi can't shake the feeling that something is horribly wrong, and is swiftly proven right.
@wordybird.bsky.socialHods help me I think it might be Arianne's turn for the prompts.
@wordybird.bsky.socialArashi does not, and stubbornly refuses Tataru's hints that she should do so because really, they're not THAT expensive.
Tataru has given up arguing and has instead added the typical costs of Arashi’s teleports to her stipends. Arashi has not noticed.
@wordybird.bsky.socialSo I guess I'll have to master Beastmaster before Evercold...
@wordybird.bsky.socialStorm's Road: FFXIV Write 2026: Day 9 - Boustrophedon
A mysterious find has G'raha Tia quite stumped. He turns to his fellow scholars for assistance.
@wordybird.bsky.socialI'm taking this prompt out on Tender, Y'shtola and G'raha. Two out of three of them deserve it.
@wordybird.bsky.socialStorm's Road - FFXIV Write 2026: Day 8 - Strain
A heedless traveller ignores the warnings of wear and tear.

@wordybird.bsky.socialStorm's Road - FFXIV Write 2026: Day 7 - Ignorance is Bliss
Arashi never has been very good at keeping secrets, to say nothing of disguising her pretences. Venat enjoys making a show of pretending not to notice.
@wordybird.bsky.socialI love it when the fic idea I'm pondering fits perfectly with the prompt of the day. We're going to the moon!
@wordybird.bsky.socialStorm's Road - FFXIV Write 2026: Day 6 - Time (Extra Credit #1)
Nursing a major headache and a resentful auspice, Arashi has to mend a badly burned bridge.
@wordybird.bsky.socialLizard at the writing party, what will she do?
(Continue to write her extra-credit fic, that's what.)
@wordybird.bsky.socialNothing like reblogging some Venat art, mentioning your fic in the rambly reblog tags, then having the artist themselves say, "Hey, where's the link though."
In unrelated news, Wheels of Thunder is seeing a large spike in hits and I am Afraid.
@wordybird.bsky.socialStorm's Road - FFXIV Write 2026: Day 5 - Preservation
In the wake of Venat's departure, Arashi sets out to the isle of auspices to seek their unique perspective.
@wordybird.bsky.socialArashi makes it look easy. She doesn't have any specific method so much as she dismantles the methods of her enemies, all without apparent effort. And when at last the killing blow comes down, she turns to the next foe with that same disinterested stare.
