Day 517 of my left-handed Pokemon challenge, Kecleon.

I really like the markings on its face. They're just so cool!

#pokemon #lefthandpokemon #pokemonfanart #sketch #digitalart #krita #imagedescription #kecleon

A sketchy digital lineart, pink on a lime green background. A bipedal chameleon with its body in 3/4 view and its face in profile, facing left. It appears to be dancing, with its arms held out to the left and one foot raised to show the underside. It has chibi proportions, with a large head, pear-shaped body, and short legs. Its hands and feet each have three claws. It has two spiky crests or frills on its head like a double mohawk. A ridge or band of color outlines its lips, runs up its snout, splits to either side to loop around each eye, and then leads up to merge with the top of the frill on each side. It has a small jagged fin on its spine, right between the shoulder blades. Around its midsection is a horizontal band with a zigzag design. Its tail is a tightly coiled swirl. An attempt at Kecleon.

Heartless Art

The Ink Demon Vs. the Shadow Blot ( #Bendy Vs. #EpicMickey )

Joey Drew's failed project against Mickey Mouse's greatest mistake.

Heartless Art The Ink Demon Vs. the Shadow Blot (Bendy Vs. Epic Mickey) The art depicts a projector screen with Mickey's head on it, sporting the Ink Demon's twisted grin. The film being projected is burning up with holes melting all over, some forming on Mickey's ears to make them look like curved horns. The projector screen is sticking out of a sea of ink, with two Bloticles rising out of the black puddles, and a barely visible funnel from the Ink Machine pouring into the sea below. The title is in Bendy's font, covered in blue paint and green thinner, with splotches of black ink.

Final project for my art class

We weren't allowed to use any color for our assignments so I'm DYING to color this one. I'll probably have that done sometime next week :3

(Yapping in the alt-text as always)

Petrich, my OC, laying in a flower field looking happy :D As mentioned in the post itself, we weren't allowed to use any color for this class which really killed me. However, I think it really helped me to understand not only the importance of color in art, but also just how important value and shading is too. Each assignment we did really challenged me. I'm so used to drawing nothing but furry portraits that I never really thought about how little I tried other things like perspective, landscapes, realism etc etc. It sort of got me thinking about how my art could be improved by adding those simple things into my drawings. I'll probably end up doing some background practice soon. My teacher has a master's degree in fine art, and has spent most of his career working in the art-world, be it in art exhibits or teaching or performance art. It was intimidating. Up until I started the class, all of the people critiquing my art were pretty "amateur" compared to the skill and knowledge this guy had. I think he got a kick out of me. I don't know if that was because of how weird my art was compared to the other students, or if he genuinely had interest in my art. Who can say. Most of the people in my art class were much much much better than me and had been doing it for all of their lives. Towards the beginning of the class there were a few students that were worse than me but they ended up dropping the class. It was kind of sad to see. It was kind of terrifying, that class, having to draw around people who were so much better than me, but I think I learned to face my fears that way. None of them were harsh. They all had useful criticisms, and I learned so much just by seeing them work and seeing the wonderful art they made. When my art teacher told me that he was okay with me drawing a furry for the final project, I was ecstatic. It's the one thing I'm decent at in art, and I really wanted my final project to be something I could really put my heart and soul into.
