Johor Motorsports Racing was expected to take part in the Intercontinental GT Challenge season finale as well, but their two Corvettes, of which one was going to be entered in the Pro class and the other in Pro-Am, will not be featured on the entry list.

そもそもベース車のGT-Rが生産終了だし、GT-R GT3は登場以来他ではあるEVOキットのようなアップデートもされておらず、BOPで何とか土俵に乗っている状態。5-Zigenは良くがんばっているなと正直に思う。
いまは、WECでGT3規格が採用となってから、GT3で勝つために元のスポーツカーを設計する時代で、トヨタのGR GTとGR GT3の関係もまさにそれ。そして、残念ながら日産やホンダにはもうGT3のベースに出来るスポーツカーが無い。

That's a wrap for #IGTC #鈴鹿1000km #SUZUKA1000km. Next up will be the Indy 8H season finale next month.

The maximum total driving time in the Suzuka 1000km was 3 hours and 15 minutes. Laurin Heinrich did 3 hours, 11 minutes and 31 seconds behind the wheel of 'Bushi Rex'. The AO by Absolute Racing squad got the most out of Heinrich's seat time.

Augusto Farfus, Brian Lee and Marcelo Tomasoni get the better off the Norik Ferrari of Taku Bamba, Norikazu Shibata and David Tan to claim the last spot on the Pro-Am class podium with the BMW of Kang's Racing Company.

Giancarlo Fisichella, Kei Nakanishi and Shigekazu Wakisaka dominate Pro-Am in the Suzuka 1000km. The LMcorsa trio comfortably win their class ahead of the Johor Corvette of Ben Green, Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim and Prince Jefri Ibrahim.

Maezawa Racing were leading the Bronze Cup, until they were hit by the Okazaki Porsche with four hours to go. Yusaku Maezawa, Alessio Rovera and Naoki Yokomizo end up in sixth place in class behind the LMcorsa Ferrari and PLUS with Studie BMW.

Ralf Bohn and Alfred and Robert Renauer complete the podium in the Bronze Cup. The seven x seven-backed Herberth Porsche finishes third in class, after having to recover from a stop-and-go for the crash that forced the KRC BMW into retirement.

Anders Fjordbach, Li Kerong and Joel Sturm take the chequered flag in the second position in the Bronze Cup with the High Class Porsche.

Li is also the top finisher in the Independent Cup and clinches that title with one race to spare.

Dan Harper, Anthony McIntosh and Parker Thompson overcome an early tire change mistake, resulting in an extra stop, and a late drive-through to win the Bronze Cup in the Suzuka 1000km. The WRT BMW crosses the line in the seventh spot overall.

What a race it has been, especially given the relative lack of yellow flags. A victory for #8 Porsche in PRO class, #60 Ferrari in PRO-AM class, and #69 BMW in Bronze class.

Maxime Martin, Kakunoshin Ohta and Luca Stolz make up 23 positions, after starting from the back of the grid. The Craft-Bamboo AMG rounds out the overall top five behind the Johor Corvette of Nicky Catsburg, Scott McLaughlin and Alexander Sims.
