Progress on the shawl I'm making. It's about 60% done at this point. I selected the yarn because I liked the gradient but I have feelings about the stripes.

I have started the Theresa Wentzler peacock tapestry pattern, in honor of my partner who left this world due to cancer. It was a pattern she purchased but never stitched.

Pattern is Peacock Tapestry by Theresa Wentzler. Part of the frame border is stitched in. Embroidery by Sidney Eileen. This pattern was originally purchased by my partner some twenty years ago because she loved the design, but she never stitched it because she hated doing counted work, and it is a particularly complicated pattern. She lost her battle with cancer in March of 2026, and I am stitching this piece in her memory.

Third booth from the same Saturday at the Longmont Farmers Market, and the one I didn't expect. Red Cedar Sheep & Wool, out of Niwot, with Colorado wool from their own sheep and llamas. I worked along the length of the table and let the far end go soft.

A support spindle sits on the fiber it’s spinning. The spindle has a brown shaft and a blue whirl and is made by Spanish Peacock. The fiber is yellow and green and blue and purple and came from Fossil Fibers.
