to speak
with #eloquence
that's
a skill
I suppose
our leaders
get
coaching
but only after
they've
passed
all the hustings
and got in
we
had
a minister
from USA
who never
needed
notes
for
sermons
funerals etc
everything
was committed
to memory
he was
amazing
it made
everything flow

"Sholmes, three yoga mats are missing"

"Geriarty attended class?"

"Yes, and spoke with unusual #eloquence"

"Did he mention the mats?"

"He said they are seeking inner peace"

"Where?"

"In his car"

#Eloquence isn’t the loudest scream tearing the void apart - it’s the quiet murmur that births writhing, blood-slick shadows, forcing buried horrors to claw free from under your skin and drown in their own wet gasps.

Sisters:
"I wish I had the advantage of #eloquence."
"I know to be able to persuade smoothly."
"In a gentle way of course, always."
"To captivate people with our words."
"Now, why can't we do that?"
"We are simple people by nature."
"Oh, boo nature."

#eloquence is something
everybody should try
at least twice in their lives

Nora teases Bob about his lack of #eloquence when he tries to explain something to a random woman. He shakes his head, pretending it doesn't bother him, but it's true: women make him nervous. Not that he wants it to show, yet the thought sticks.

There is no eloquence in my writing, no beauty, no flourish. My words are pitted hammers seeking nails, or a deserving face. I may pull my punches online and in person, but my stories tell the truth as I see it.

There, he'd spoken with at least a form of #eloquence. Now he seemed to be getting loud for attention.

As Amy watched from outside she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the salon window. Her blue and green hair was a part of who she was, but it made her stand out. #vss365 #writing

Golden autumn days
Gently trees let go their leaves
Eloquence of fall

A poem’s component elements
should conjure lyric #eloquence
that dazzles with its elegance
while still revealing relevance.

Peasants, Part 3

The dragon spoke
With #eloquence
Before
He razed our town

He mentioned
All its fine points
‘Fore he blithely
Burned it down

In hindsight
It was bad idea
To crown this beast
Our King

The City Council
Sends regrets—
Then soaks
In Cancun’s springs

The eloquence of a stack
Denominations even cut
with a binding strap
The odour of lust
Smooth to the touch
Each one says little
but the bundle
the bundle says much
