Was the play call to go for it on fourth down in the first half a mistake? Buckeye analyst Bill Conley discusses whether or not Ryan Day should've just settled for the field goal against Texas. #cfb #OhioState #buckeyes #football

Not a great Cleveland Sports weekend so far. Guardians lost, Ohio State lost & now it's up to...The Browns??? Not to hopeful on that!!! #Guardsball #MLB #ClevelandGuardians #OhioState #Buckeyes #GoBucks #DawgPound #ClevelandBrowns #Browns #BellStrongSports⚾️🏈 #Cleveland #TheLand

Ryan Day and Dan Lanning losing on the same day in and of itself makes it a great day of college football.

Ohio State’s late-game struggles have put Ryan Day’s decision-making back under the spotlight.

Clock management, play-calling and execution all matter when a game comes down to the final minutes.

What do the Buckeyes need to fix most?

Alter, was für ein Comeback der #Longhorns gegen die #Buckeyes letzte Nacht!

I did not see how #ohiost could lose that game to #texas! The #buckeyes we're on a roll, I thought they had #mannings #, but guess #longhorns r 4 real now.

Guilty parties:
1. A. Smith.
2. Day TO strategy.
3. Kicker.
4. Fumble luck.
5. Not getting two PIs on 3rd on the road.

Ryan Day really reminds me a lot of John Cooper, both in his ability to recruit incredible talent and his utter cluelessness in big games. #Buckeyes

I always say we're a 2nd half team!
Not this time! 😭
Ugh
#Buckeyes

Blown chances for #Buckeyes tonight:
1) 8:25 in 3rd - Sayin sails pass to wide open McCuin for walk in TD. OSU settled for FG.
2) 5:56 in 3rd - OSU can’t recover muffed fumble at Texas 9.
3) 2:21 in 3rd - OSU can’t stop UT 4th & 8.
4) :33 in 3rd - OSU can’t recover UT fumble at OSU 12.

Epic meltdown from the #Buckeyes in Austin as they blow a 23-3 4th quarter lead. Probably won’t matter come playoff selection time given the quality of the opponent, but that’s just a game you cannot lose given how they were absolutely dominating.

Ryan Day gotta go after this.
#Buckeyes

Helluva game #Longhorns #Buckeyes

Another Ryan Day masterclass in late-game management.
Pathetic. 🙃
#Buckeyes

Yelling at the screen 3 plays in a row "LET THEM SCORE" smdh #buckeyes

Exciting second half of the Texas / Ohio State game. Well done to both teams. I am entertained. Definitely worthy of the game of the week.
#LongHorns #Buckeyes

#Buckeyes clinging now to a 23-17 lead with 2 minutes left and Texas on the OSU 31 with a 3rd and 2. This has all the makings of an epic choke job.

The Ryan Day prevent offense strikes again #buckeyes

And #Buckeyes blow another chance. They go for the endzone on 3rd & 4, can’t convert, and then miss the 45 yard FG that would’ve made it a 9 point game.
