Lived 15 years in Tenerife
Rock #island in the sea,
Where designated drivers
Drank Dorada #sin, not tea,
For 'sin' in Spanish meant beer 'without'
And the driver was always me.

when Cain felt rage
God said there was a beast
crouching at his door
but he had the power to
control it

that beast wasn't jealousy or anger
but desire
I want he said
wanting can break the world

Cain didn't listen
he doubled down
sin killed Abel
but it broke Cain too

It was a #sin, what they did to him. He knew it and they knew it, and together they all conspired to hide it from the rest of the world. Because if there was one thing worse than being sinned against, it was *being* a sin. Could he undo it in the future, that was the question. #vss365 (sin)

'Tis the day of All Hollow Where all my desperate lies come back to visit
Adorned on my porch like unmoving ghouls
Shimmery of a #sin
undiscovered
Dug out of my guilt as if awaiting a judge
to be banished its final judgement place
and I...
The perpetrator to
reflect, regret and wither away

"If you ask me, I think when Cosmo got out of Utah, he tried to commit every #sin that he could," Bailey said. "Lust, pride, gluttony, sloth, greed, envy and wrath."
"Where's the wrath part?" Jin said.
"Burn his Playboy collection and you'll see Buddha in person." #vss365

When seeking truth is seen as the original sin
You realize there is a Heaven
But they won't let you in

gods are greedy
They need you needy
How else are they gonna commit acts so seedy?

Seek truth anyway
Strip yourself, throw masks away
Sit back & wait for Judgement day

Nowhere in literature can I find
That being unique is how sin is defined
That being homogeneous
For some is erogenous
These people are completely out of their mind

If cats were judged by human values, they would embody each cardinal #sin. Luckily, cats have a more pragmatic view of the world: pride is simply confidence, envy and wrath are a lack of the favorite pillow, gluttony is getting food on time, and sloth are ten daily naps in the sun.

the pull of sins
a deeper call

if it is
such a #sin
to have a heart
that sees love as love,
then so be it;
i am still here
existing in my shades
'til i meet with death

Really?

Nah, only kidding, you said.

I was worried there for a minute. I thought you were serious when you said it is a sin to buy more books when all my shelves are full.

I'm neither #sin
Nor giving in

If you shut me out
Why would I care?
Why, all the bastards

Are
In
There

Out here, at the edge of the world, It is quiet
With starlight
The dew has fallen
And damp grass marks my steps
In the undying orchard

Some call it Original #Sin
On Eve all the blame they do pin
But because of her choice
Humankind has a voice
And I'd call that a glorious win!

What they did had been described as "living in #sin", which was the opposite of how they felt, living in love. Eventually, he made an "honest woman" of her by marrying on a beautiful late summer's day. The symbolism mattered, proclaiming their love to all.

churning passion within
a holy transgression
the taste of midnight skin
confession
at the altar
trading sacred virtue
for lips dripping with #sin
claim ruin of grace
pray the prayer
beautiful and deep
beg absolution
for spirit and the flesh
but make this human mark
damnation
in the dark

Let’s tango
with the inevitable end,
where tender touches
and quiet sins blend.
In the sweetness of lies,
let life pirouette,
a kindred spirit,
free of regret.
No longe drifting,
we look up and rise,
to touch the horizon
and capture the skies.
