His #bequest to his children was honored, despite all that he had done

Yet another problem his wealth got him out of

Except, this time, the citizens were not going to allow it to happen

He had taken so many of their children, it was time for them to do the same to him

The envelope was a #bequest from the man who came before him; in it, two pennies and a note.

“Sleep with these on your eyes and you’ll be safe from the one who comes at night.”

It was an old hospital and it seemed the interview for night guard had left out a few important details.

she holds an empty hand
scarred by years of dreams
of failing to make the cut
her #bequest a stolen fortune
carried by the wind
into the open wound
of her soul

Today I drove
The morning sun was orange peeling
My passenger a woman flying
To the funeral of her son
On her phone another son
Whining of his losses
We hugged goodbye at the airport
A black headed ibis flew across my path home
The Aussie version
The bin chicken
Not Thoth's bequest

I will bequest you my unmet wishes because for you, they'll come true.

Oh, and you can also have my red pen that I use for my stories.

The head of the noble house had left a substantial #bequest to a great number of family members, charitable institutions and servants. He was a good man, despite being of the nobility.

As pet of the #bequest from some supposedly old acquaintance of Esme’s, Rory had one, tiny problem to solve. What the supposed acquaintance had left was, in fact, in a lair. A very dangerous lair, because there would be little point it being in a safe one.

It was probably tat anyway.

Faked his death
#Bequest to himself
He stayed rich
But the world thought he left

He had a microscope
Saw what's in the dope
Before he could publish
The arkancide trope

He skipped town to look gone
So the villains left his mom
She baked a cake
Cuz she knew he's still long
