On sait depuis des décennies qu'on va se retrouver dans cette situation vis-à-vis du pétrole, mais rien n'a été fait pour l'anticiper. On est dépendants de la Russie et des Etats-Unis alors qu'il faut viser 1 million de véhicules électriques dans les trois ans à venir.

We're already trying to use other methods for CFD rather than Navier-Stokes because it's computationally expensive and flawed. Even after the proof is properly reviewed this won't have any immediate impact - it just gives a a starting point for additional research.

I was particularly tickled by Rachel's thoughts on Tim Gregory's book on nuclear energy. My dad worked in the industry and he was a passionate advocate for its possibilities. He once suggested at a family lunch that we have some nuclear waste buried in our back garden to prove how safe it is.
